Airport Disk and iTunes

I have an Airport Express, but I was thinking about getting an Airport Extreme. What I want to do is connect a large harddrive to the Airport Extreme with all of my music on it, and then connect wirelessly from my various computers.

But I'm not sure if an iPad would be able to access the harddrive or not?

There's no problem streaming to your computers but, as of now, at least, there's no option to directly stream to the iPad (it's likely that such a feature will appear, but no idea when). In the meantime there are apps that will let you stream through a wirelessly connected computer:
