Airport Documents in iTunes

I came across this today whilst setting up wireless syncing with my iPhone...



I was just wondering what it's used for? I've put files in there, but I'm unsure about how to access them on my iPhone.

Forgive me if this has been around for a while and I've simply overlooked it.

I also don't know how to access or delete the content once on the phone.

i think its a way to use ur iphone as a hard drive. i have iFlashDrive app on my iphone and it does the same thing. I just noticed the Aiport Document thing as well

It could be a way to move log files or preference files to and from your iDevices. Or, it could be a way to share files somehow. I don't see it being any use to anyone. One of those things Apple puts in there.

For the AirPort Utility app, you can probably save a configuration file to make setting up an AirPort router easy. Some apps like AirSharing with allow you similar functionality to disk mode on the old hard drive based iPods.
