Airport Extreme card problem

I just bought a new card and when I install it and turn on the computer I can here the hard drive spinning but the screen never come on. It is a 20 in. G4 Imac.
Any idea on what is wrong?

I'm guessing you opened up the computer to put the card in? Make sure you didn't jostle anything loose.

jos-tle v. to push, elbow, or bump against (someone) roughly, particularly in a crowd [intrans.] people jostled against us.

1. Make sure you wait long enough. It should come right on, but wait a few minutes just to make sure.

2. Did you take out the card and see if the computer works? If it does you know the card is bad or something. If is doesn't, you touched something else or something else just broke.
