Hey everyone,

Have a bit of an issue on my home network. Bought a brand new Airport Extreme because my old router seemed pretty outdated and the range wasn't that great.

Seems as like apps hang badly when loading or sending out data. This only affects iPhone/iPads/Apple TV though which seems strange because my iMac and Macbook Pro load everything just fine.

Not sure what could be causing these issues. Could something not be configured correctly? No modem to speak of because I have FiOS so it's certainly not on the ISP end (old router loaded everything fine, only the range and signal strength were poor).

Try reseting the thing back to Factory settings and going through setup again. If problems persists, I would advice to call Apple and ask for a look at it or help setting it up.

I bought and set up my Airport Extreme one night, and the next day when I came home the light on the Wifi box wasn't lit. The plug was in place though. It just wouldn't start up again even when I tried different plugs, so I got a refund from Apple today. Very disappointed, I always trusted the standard of quality of Apple :(
