Greetings Mac Rumours users!
I'm trying to some research on this topic before running here, but I'm a little stumped. Unsure if I'm doing something wrong, or perhaps what I'm after isn't possible.
I have an Apple Airport Extreme (model number 1408) and temporarily for a few months, need to use it as a wireless adapter for my PC. My mac is running off the wireless connection that's provided to me, however, id like the airport to pick up the wireless signal and transfer it VIA its ethernet ports to my 2 PC's sitting here that don't have wireless.
I went in, reset the airport, and joined a network using the airport utility, but the PC states its connected, but no internet coming through.
Yes, i understand there are PLENTY of cheap wireless adapters available, but within 4 months, I will be back to having a wired connection back from the wall, and the Airport will be working as a wireless router again.
Can anyone offer any help and or suggestions? I tried extending the connection, but it continuously fails and flashes orange. Thank you for your help in advance.
