I've had my Apple Airport Extreme since June, but recently in the past two weeks, I've been getting disconnected. I am able to connect to the Internet using my iPhone 3G off of my Airport Extreme, but I am not able to connect to the Internet off of my iMac. I don't get it. I try "Assist Me" and "Diagnostics," and nothing works! I am going nuts. I am a computer geek, but the fact that I can't figure this out is driving me nuts. I try to reboot my modem, router, and computer, but my iMac is still not connecting. Usually, I have to wait between 30 minutes to an hour before my computer reconnects by itself, but this is so annoying. My Airport Extreme light is green, my modem is working just fine, but whenever I try to connect to the computer, the Airport Extreme light in "Diagnostics" is green, Airport Settings is green, but my Network Setting turns yellow/orange with a "Self-Assign IP Address" and a note saying that my Internet may or may not work. Has anyone else have this problem? I searched for answers on this forum, but everyone else seem to be clueless about this problem too, but that was back in early January. Anyone figured out the problem yet?
