Hi my brother bought a c2d macbook not too long ago and it was working fine. He did the latest airport update and now he said he can't connect to his router via wireless at all anymore. He has to hook up a cable. I stepped him through deleting his preference file for airport which didn't work. we reset the smc which didn't help(didn't think it would but figured it would be worth a shot). Went to other in the airport menu and tried that. We deleted the stored key from keychain, and we deleted all stored networks from the network preference pane. Not in that order. Does anyone have any ideas? I really pushed him to get a macbook and told him how few problems he would have and all and now I feel really bad, he had to send his first one back because of a non functioning burner.

He said it just says error and thats it. Is there a way to uninstall the update, uninstall the airport stuff completely and then reinstall?

Thanks

ok,you're the fourth person in this forum who is the victim of Apple new update, then try to call them, the more people call, the more pressure for them to make the another update
I think this update conflict with 2Wire and Linksys modem
