Oooo...that's exciting! I hope Apple fixed that annoying bug where the time online would disappear from the icon bar and have to be reset by clicking the icon bar checkbox in the network preferences... that was my major beef.

There is also a new AirPort Extreme Base Station introduced today that supports Power over Ethernet. (IEEE 802.3af)

Is anyone having issues with this update?

I installed here at work over ethernet, rebooted, and I get a flashing globe icon. If I disconnect from our network I get the flashing globe icon, followed by the folder and question mark, then it finally boots OSX.

PLEASE HELP!!

Repaired permissions...getting ready to delete preferences....

UPDATE...


It seems the update switched my startup disk to a NETWORK startup. If anyone is having issues, make sure you change your startup disk back to OSX...

Totally. I was really worried. Acutally when little things go wrong like that and I figure it out, I kinda like it. It makes troubleshooting problems easier in the future.
