Airport Utility App doesn't work

It keeps asking for my network password over and over again and I am absolutely certain I am typing it in correctly. I even did "Forget This Network" in my iPhone settings and reentered it there (just to be sure I wasn't going crazy) without a problem
 
Are you able to connect to your wifi normally?

The Airport Utility app is for configuring the base station itself, and has its own password. It sounds as if you are trying to use your wifi network password - which can be the same, but I would think normally the wifi and base station passwords would be different.
