I have an AirPort Extreme ME918LL/A connected to my Verizon router and want to use it to share a network drive, so I need to configure for this purpose by turning off wifi and setting Bridge mode. Working from my ethernet connected High Sierra desktop, Airport Utility does not see the AirPort Extreme. How can I connect? Is there a default IP and password?

If the APEx has been reset to factory settings, simply connect to the WiFi SSID, it will be something like Airport Extreme followed by some numbers and letters. By ethernet, the APEx is acting as a router so it's LAN management port is on a different subnet than the Vz router, thus not accessible. Until it is in bridge mode, access via ethernet won't be possible from the LAN unless you connect directly to one of the LAN ports on the APEx.

I would disconnect the WAN to router cable until it is configured, to avoid interfering with the existing router.
