I have tried searching for some solutions but haven't found anything yet, the issue that i am having that started a couple days ago is that when the imac goes to sleep and wakes up it will not load any webpages.
The airport indicator says connected, the strength shows full, however my imac just sits there trying to load until it displays "You are not connected to the Internet".
Two things i can do to be able to connect are turn airport off and turn it back on, or hit the network diagnostics option when it times out which will turn airport off then turn it on which at that point will say your internet connections appear to be working properly.
My mbp connects perfectly so i know its not my router, everything was working fine up until monday when this first started happening. There where no changes made to my system at all. Internet sharing isnt checked, I have done a PRAM and SMC reset and the problem is still there.
I have noticed that it doesn't happen whenever the imac sleeps...While typing this it again looses connection whenever i don't actively surf the web. It seems like whenever there is a pause in surfing the web it says there is no connection although airport says i am connected and with full strength. I spoke with apple and they had me do the PRAM and SMC resets and said if it still happens they can have me do more "things" that are a bit more intense.
Any thoughts or ideas?
Its a 27in imac 3.06 c2d.
Thanks
