All,
I just bought a new Airport Express yesterday. Don't know why my old one stopped working. I assumed that if I set everything up the same way using the same network names everything would work without being reconfigured. So far that hasn't been the case. I have had to reconfigure my two TiVo's and so far have been unsuccesful in getting my Window's machine to see my network. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong. How hard can it possibly be to get my XP machine to see my Airport?

Setup the Airport express with the Airport Setup Assistant again, and start from scratch. You have provided us with practically zero information of what your network looks like, so I have very little idea of what advice to offer.

Sorry..a bit more detail:

My connection works fine on my Mac. I can connect wirelessly with no problem. I can look in my Airport Admin and see everything I need to know about my network. My question is more about my Windows-based machine. How can I get my windows machine onto my network. I've tried the Home Networking setup wizard but that didn't help. When I look at all available connections, it show's the connection that I am looking for, but won't connect to it.

What am I doing wrong?

I see...

Those damn PC's always causing trouble.
Well, what about going to your Network control panel and setting to DHCP? I really can't say what to do off the top of my head. Only when I'm seated in front of a Wintel machine do I know what is going on. Sry.
