AIRPos Pro not connecting to Mac mini M1

The Blue tooth on my mac mini doesn't recognize my AP Pros and my AP Pros don't recognize my mac mini as a devise to which they can connect? Followed the instructions I found here but no joy. Need to connect them so that I can participate in Zoom calls.

The real driver of my need is my mini has decided not to recognize my TB displays microphone for internet calls. My only choice for microphone is AirplayTV.
