Hello - subject sums it up. I have had an AirTag since launch but noticed today after the iOS 15 public update my AirTag no longer shows up under find my items… it’s as if I have never had it… do I reset the AirTag and re-add it?

thank you

Same issue here. AirTags are lost on my iPhone, but I can still see them on my iPad and, after upgrade to WatchOS 8, on my Apple Watch as well. Reset did not help, I can't add them to the iPhone. But I can add them to the iPad.
What I did so far:
- reset the Airtag and reconnect it
- reboot the iPhone
- remove the iPhone from my apple account and add it again

How did you do the successful reset?

Same here! How do I reset it? I'm unable to add it as a new AirTag as it is already linked to my Apple ID.

looks like the issue is caused by my iPhone Xs as I can't enable "notify when left behind" for it.
Find my app on the iPad says "not supported"

Weird... my AirTags are now showing up... the only thing I did was update my Apple Watch :)

Already being discussed over here:
