my macbook (rear left side) gets very hot, and the airport card goes up to 65, when i'm running airtunes wirelessly. is that normal? is the rear left side where the airport is? is there a way to make it cooler?

my macbook seems to run pretty cool otherwise.

i have the same model as you. is your macbook hot in the rear left side, as well? what's over there?

my airport card is at 63 idling now, so maybe it's not the airport card that's making it hot. maybe it was the cpu or hard drive. but it only seems to be hot in that spot...it goes from being just warm without airtunes to getting uncomfortable on the lap with airtunes.

the cpu is located at the left side of your laptop thats why its rather hot over there=)

good to know. now i'm wondering if airtunes was the problem at all. after it got hot last night, the charger stopped working. so maybe it's a problem with the charging system.
