oh baby this thing is so nice,
but im off to the repair shop tommorrow, got it this weekend, connected it up and transferred all my setting from other machine, all worked great,

then used the software updates and restarted, this is where my troubles began, i now no longer have an airport card, system profiler says its not there? full reinstall of OSX twice did nothing, i also have noted that firewire doesnt respond, and i just tried quake 4, looks stunning but apprently the sound card is not supported??

but on the plus side, the glossy screen was a non issue!!! is beautiful and very happy

its a known issue, a few threads here if you look around. The latest update screwed with a lot of machines but oddly not all... Many iMac owners are waiting for a software fix. Id be a little pissed with a new machine thats crashing. ATi & Apple are suppose to be working on it.......

well to update above post, imac is been replaced, appeared that the airport card was fried!??! still seems weird to me but hey... just glad i didnt get my mac thru an apple store and have to wait several weeks while they tried to fix it.
