I've seen many alarm clock apps. And separately I've seen a few "sleep sound / noise machine" apps.

Is there an alarm clock app that can play white noise while it's running? And then shuts off when the alarm gets snoozed or turned off?

Or alternatively, is there a White Noise app that has alarm clock functionality?

I've seen some White Noise apps where you can set it to work for a certain time limit (6 hours, for example). But that's different than having it play white noise all night until 6:15am at which time an alarm goes off.

That's an interesting idea. I'll think about adding it to my alarm clock app.

Thanks for the response. I think it'd be very helpful. When I travel - I have to pick between either my alarm clock app OR the white noise app. Both have to be running in foreground to work, so I can't use both.

I don't think it needs to have 100 sounds like some apps either. Just a simple white noise and maybe a few others for variety like rain, storm, beach. Something like that.

Feel free to PM if you want to discuss.

12,24 alarm has this and enough other features to make it a great alarm app.

Also try Relax Alarm Clock Pro. Or get Awaken and you can set a sleep timer to white noise that you loaded onto the iPhone.
