Got a new iPhone 12. The alarm & ringer volume cannot be set separately. In Sounds & Haptics, when I decrease the volume, the alarm volume decreases but my ringer volume decreases too. When I increase the volume using the buttons on the left side of the phone, the alarm volume changes too. I just cannot seem to set each volume separately.

Also, the lowest volume is way too loud. Is it an iphone 12 issue?

Do you have this indicated toggle on or off? If it's on, turn it off.

I turned it off. Also turned off Attention Aware(under Face ID & Passcode) off. The alarm volume has been sorted.

But now, when I use the volume buttons on the left side of the phone, the volume increases for ringer, music & games! Also, I do not see the ringer volume bar when I adjust the ringer volume.

The problem of the lowest volume being too loud has been sorted either.

My new iPhone 12 is sounding more like my mom's Samsung - always loud!
