Artwork Transfer

Anyone noticed where the Artwork is stored?
When I add art, it looks like each file of a multi select has the data added.
Does the art stay with each m4a, even when transfered to another machine?
or is it some sort of library system?

hmm... I wonder...

wouldn't it be cool to have a visulisation that used the album art image and played with it...or is it just me?

you can have the visualizations turned on then pause the music and the visualizations keep going. It is not tied to the music which kind of bugs me. It would be nice to have some visual that came from the actual source.

Maybe a simple formula and link address could be stored within the id tag for visualizations. Then the artist could have some control over it.

What sucks is that nearly all of Apple's screens are widescreen now, but if you do an iTunes visual at full screen on a widescreen computer, the cover art and the song title text is very obviously streched horizontally. This gets on my nerves - you'd think they could get around this somehow.

I'm pretty sure it is at least slightly linked. Some stuff will keep going, but if there are lines, they won't "buzz" to the beat. Try leaving vis on after it's been paused or stopped, it'll go practically all black eventually.

there is an iTunes visualizer plug-in called Jacket. i think i found it on VT, but i'm not sure. it goes and gets the album covers from online, so they don't have to be in the ID3 Tag.

nice of them to add the album cover to the visuals, but not what i was hoping for. i was kinda expecting to have some new visualizations introduced in the update, but i have yet to see any that i have not seen before. i suppose i will have to keep waiting, or get some plugins to add new visuals. oh well..
