Since buying the first Unibody MacBook Pro I've come to love the contrast of the aluminum between the keys and the keyboard tray.

The all black looks pretty spec but does seem a little odd.

Just curious, are you for it or not?

Not. big fan. I like the keys popping with the plain aluminium vs black keys. Not quite sure why they did this.

I think they integrated the all black keyboard to help people get over the annoying notch. At first the notch was the most annoying and horrible thing to look at since... well, ever. But the longer I look at this keyboard... ugh... it makes me forget about the notch. That keyboard is really as ugly as it gets. Maybe not because it's all black, but because the all black is embedded in a silver top case.

My initial thought was that I'm not a fan, but I'm going to reserve judgement for when I see it in person.

I can't remember from the keynote, but did Apple say the black tray was finished aluminum? As a unibody I have to imagine it is. Just seems odd they would take the time to finish the body this way at the factory.

It's the single biggest thing I dislike about the new design. The chunkier looking edges with more prominent feet are easily ignored when you're using it, I actually like the notched screen personally, but this looks really tacky IMO.
