All boot discs show as "EFI Boot" on Beta 4

I have a 2017 27" iMac with a CoreStorage Fusion 1.03 TB internal drive and an external G-Drive Thunderbolt 3 4TB drive. macOS Big Sur (11.0) Beta 4 is installed on both drives.

When I press Option during boot up, they are both reported as "EFI Boot". The only way I can distinguish between them is their icons.

I don't know why this or whether it is important.

This appeared for me in beta 2, I think. I have a partitioned drive, and when my computer reboots after a macOS update, after I manually select EFI boot, it will get past the log-in screen and then reboot. Then I'm back to the drive selection screen. It only reboots once, but it's still annoying.
