HI guys, I'm using an iPhone 6 running iOS 9.0.2.

IF I set an all day event it runs over 2 days. I've checked my settings in Time & Date and in Calendar settings.

TIme & Date is set to 'set automatically'. Time Zone London.

Calender settings set to Time Zone Override Off. Alternative Calendars Off.

i've checked the calendar app itself and the time zone matches my time and date settings.

London did recently go into day light saving hours but this has never been an issue before.

Any ideas guys?

Maybe this is a bug in 9.0, have you tried upgrading to the stable release of 9.1 where it's possibly fixed? It shouldn't have any issues running on the i6

Thanks floris. Alas I'm jail broken.

May wait till 9.1 is broken and check.

My iPad oddly is running fine with all day events!

I personally do not support jailbroken, I have my opinion about it -- one being that you can't guarantee things run as they are expected. Try not to jailbreak it and see if it still happens. That way you can at least deduct if it could be the cause.

In a way I agree with you floris. But I've come back to iOS from an android and stock iOS is absolutely restricted and cumbersome compared to android.

But due to business needs I need to run iOS as it runs seamlessly with my Mac which is needed for my video work.

I can understand your argument, but I would never *ever* use jailbroken for business. It's one way trademark or confidential information can leak out. I can't trust the source, I know it's compromisable on a root-level, and the unofficial apps .. you can't screen them yourself. You just don't know if your customer credit card details or private conversations between you and your customers etc are leaking outside of the network.

Personally I would reconsider. Just my opinion.

Floris I did consider the implications. But I've made sure to only install a couple of tweaks I really require. Unfortunately the main one was to be lock info. But the developer won't be developing this any more. Next option was intelliscreenx. But this seems to be a no go too.

So chances are I'll be unjailbreaking.

I do not know if you can backup your jailbreak, test unbroken, and compare, then pick the setup that works best for you. I've seen other threads in the jailbroken forums where people reported this (little googling), so, pangu problems perhaps.
It is tough when you have wishes and you get an expensive device for home, hobby and work, and know that Android has pros/cons for you individually, as so does iOS.

Something I've noticed before as well. Seems to be OK now in 9.1. Earlier I simply made sure and quickly changed if necessary the end date to be the same day (rather than tomorrow) when I was creating an all day event.

Unfortunately you can't even edit the calendar entry to make the all day event on one the one day. Even if you edit the dates once you exit it'll default to 2 days span.

Odd, that wasn't my experience when I ran into the issue prior to 9.1.

I had this, but it was only with events that were made on my Exchange account. They also appeared that way in Calendar on my Mac. I was able to fix it by deleting the events and adding them back.

So I just started running into this issue , I'm not sure what caused it but I worked out a temp fix.

When making an all day event , don't set it to all day , instead set the start time and end time as 12am of the say day.

Save the event.

Go back and edit the event, you can now set it to all day and save it.

It seems my issue is that every time i make an event it defaults the start time as 9pm, and setting it to all day just adds 24 hrs to the event instead of making it 24 hrs of the same day.
