All my Emails disappeared. I tried to get them back using my Time machine. I could not do it. When I went into Time Machine. I could not go to any selected dates. I tried the procedure at these link. https://discussions.apple.com/thread/6064733 and it did not work. Anyone have any suggestions please? I also tried the procedure in this video and it did not work because I could not select any dates.

I don't know exactly how you tried to recover your mail but the proper way is to first open the mail program and then enter Time Machine. That should allow you to select which dates to recover the mail from. It's possible that your Time Machine backups are not working properly if you followed the correct procedure and could not select the dates.

I recommend using Carbon Copy Cloner in addition to Time Machine. You can never have too many backups.
