All I want out of lion server is...... iCal

I want to be able to use iCal like this - via phone or email, bookings are made, the detail/booking forms are then attached (pages doc) to the booking in ical so that all 6 of my personnel can collect this info on their iPad or iPhone while away from the office.

I have no idea on using any type of server but was sucked in by the advertising of it being easy and fool proof to set up, is there an idiots guide to setting this up anywhere? Web searches don't give me anything.

Any help or ideas would very gratefully received!

I'm in the same boat .. New to setting up a server and can't find any good resources to help with the process. Just looking to set up an iCal server.

That's just what I was looking for, being new to it, I did think to look in the advanced server admin files.
