I'm having a strange issue with my 2013 Mac Pro. Sometimes after booting up, all media (music, videos, etc.) play and sound at around half speed. It's much like a record being played on the wrong tempo. This includes both local files and internet sites like YouTube. It's creepy! If I reboot, the problem goes away. Everything else works fine. Any ideas?

I’ve had this happen at work on my iMac Pro. Reboot was always the fix. Haven’t noticed it in a while, what version of MacOS are you running?

I’m running the latest developers beta of Mojave, 10.14.4. It’s only happened a few times, all within the last month or so. I keep thinking Mojave may be the culprit but I’m not sure why simply rebooting fixes the issue. I’m glad it does!
