Seeing how FCP X needs at least a Intel 3000 hd GPU every MBA about to get released soon will need one of those, on top of that, its about as fast as the latest IGP from NVidia used in the 2010 models, not slower IF you order your MBA with a Core i7.

Has it been confirmed the new ULV Intel processers are packing the 12EU graphics versions? I had not seen the cores listed anywhere.

While we all kinda knew the Intel HD 3000 would be in the new MBA, the release of FCPX doesn't exactly prove anything.

FCPX will work on any OpenCL enabled graphics card - meaning the Nvidia 9400M and 320M are included, as far as I can tell. That means any MacBook Air (other than the 1st Gen released from Jan 08-Oct 08) will run FCP X.

The Intel HD 3000 support is just there so that people who bought a 13" MacBook PRO 2-3 months ago don't feel bilked out of their ~$1500 by not being able to use the newest software. (That and we know that the 2011 MBA and MacMini will also use the Intel HD 3000 graphics chip).

And by i7, not sure what you mean. The LV i7 still clocks in much lower than the 320m and performs on par with the 9400m (in gaming at least).

If Apple includes 25W CPU/GPU combos in the 13" Air, we'll see some more closely comparable clock speeds to the 320m, but i5/i7 isn't necessarily the delineating factor (as the LV 17W i7's have the same base-clocked (350Mhz) GPU as the LV 17W i5's. The i7 just turbos a bit faster).
