Hey all.

I must admit, I have been quite lucky with my iphone, 3g fine, no issue with apps, slowness in contacts etc.

However, out of the blue, nothing done differently, nothing added - my iphone, when going into sms, calendar, contacts, takes about 2 or 3 seconds to actually open - it just sits with a application open as if there is no data, and then it opens everything.

Before, it was instantanious. On a few forums and haven't found anything like this, most folk have these issues from start.

I haven't done a reset yet, but that is the next step. Its one of these things where I want to know - WHY? Why now?

1) Do a restart. If that doesn't help, do a reset. If that doesn't help, do a restore.

2) It happened because the software is buggy. Hopefully 2.1 will fix these issues. Though nothing was added or done to the phone, it was still being used and if the software has bugs, it can lead to a slow system.
