All of my Favorite Pictures are Gone

I did the IOS 11 install and now my favorites file in Photos is missing all but three pictures. I checked online in Icloud and the Favorites folder there is also missing all but the same pictures. I don't know what to do.

Thanks very much. Yes I did. I just restored from the pre-IOS 11 back up. There were no Favorites at all at first but now they are there. Maybe they had to download. Anyway thanks.
