So I have a Flip 3, and I love the phone, but the battery life wasn't an all day performer. I didn't return the phone because I was ok with topping up as trade off. This phone is just too darn slick and compact. Never going back to a big slab device.

So, after a few changes in the settings, the battery is now an all day battery for me. This settings change will work on any Samsung phone with a fingerprint reader.

Go into settings, biometrics and security, fingerprints.

Then turn off, Fingerprint always on. That's it. Samsung should have this as the default setting. It makes a massive difference.

One other setting you can change to really squeeze out more battery life, is, go into:
settings, battery and device care, then tap the menu button at the top right, automation, and turn on Adaptive power saving.
I haven't seen any hit to performance with this turned on.

You could also turn off 120Hz refresh, but I'm definitely not giving that up for a bit more battery.

So far the people I know that have made these changes, have said they have noticed a big difference.

I've always said, 5hrs of screen on time is all I need, and I have no problem getting that on a full charge now. Here's where I'm currently at after 14hrs off the charger.

Hope it works just as well for you.

I'm giving it test run.. So if phone is off let's say unfolded.. It will need to wake to use fingerprints... If I flip it open from closed Flip 3 screen awakes so fingerprint works immediately... Thanks for sharing

Exactly, and for anyone without a folding device, they can turn on raise to wake, tap the screen, or hit the power button. So simple.
