I got a Mac Book Air early May ( I think..... yes.) BEcause it ahd no disk drive at the store we boughhe microsoft thing that came with Word, Exel, Power point and enturage. They put it onto my MBA there so that was great! Here are the pros and cons
-So thin (yet when you're traveling all day and carrying a silver purse those 3 lbs seem heavy..)
-takes a long time to start up
-the word and power point and excel (dont use entourage .... have the emai lthing that comes with the mac) takes like 30 seconds
-i like the whole setup of macs! i had always use windows until I bougt a mac this year. The setup is great. It takes a while you get used to but it rocks!
-umm..... other than startup everything is pretty fast
-the built in iSight camera has good qualtiy pictures
-i like the programs
If you have any questions please feel free to ask!

I just thought of one problem with it though! You have to have wireless internet! We went out and bought an airport, which is now conected to our non wireless internet. Right now there is something messed up with the airport, or my laptop or something else, so ti won't detect it, and when it does it says connection timeout. And it's so thin you can't connect an internet cable to it!
I won't spill/sit on my laptop, altough it does have some scratches......

You rarely have to shut down OSX. Just close the lid, don't shut down unless you are not going to use it for days and are without power.

Does it have a spell check?

Seems like you are joking, but OSX has SYSTEM-WIDE spell check.

Am I the only one thinking this guy has alot of money or is very loose with his money?

I mean Office for mac is over $150 and he doesn't even know the name of it, and it seems he didn't realize it needed wireless until after he bought it so he went and got a airport that cost $180 and doesn't seem to upset he doesn't even know how to work it.

PS: If you didn't know they are making fun of you because of all the spelling errors in your posts.

You need to purchase the Ethernet Adapter for about $19.99 at the Apple Store, then just plug your new cable into your MBA's USB port. Congrats on your May purchase.
Thank you. I did buy the thing.

THank you for telling me this. I didn't realize hwo much itthe windows thing costs because it was a gift. A close family member bought me the laptop and at the store they got the thing attatched. The airport was a must. THe family member also bought that. I also am not loose. Well this past weekend I bought things with my 2 very close girlfriends at walmart and bought unnessiscary things.
BTW, SHE doesn't know the name. I wasn't there, my um, family friend bought it for me. I love it. Glad to know you feel this way because that's what everyone thinks. A girl under 18 doesn't need all this crap. BUt hey, if this friend wants to that's great!
