For a while now, my MacBook Air is feeling kinda slower. I'm not sure what it could be. I do try and keep it clean and clear the cache regularly. My ssd also has enough space, 75 GB out of the 120 GB.

The fans are not working hard/loud or anything, but just from my experience with the device, it seems a bit slower now.

I've taken a few screenshots of the processes for you guys to see and see if you can tell if there is something dodgy between them.

I regret not choosing the 8 GB of ram when I bought it. According to this app ''Free memory'' I quickly run out of memory just by browsing while listening to music. Though Safari does take A LOT of ram...

Anyway, I'm not sure all these processes are supposed to run, many of them are set on my name and not ''root''.

If you guys have any advice, I'll gladly read it.

Thanks.

I don't see anything unusual running there and your memory usage looks normal. Your pageouts are very low, so I don't really think a lack of memory is an issue on your machine.

Okay thanks, this was when everything except Safari was off. It's just, I see lots of these processes and their names don't make much sense. I googled a few which are running normal here but other people have issues with them.

I also had kernel task using 100% of the cpu, seems like many people had this problem (with the fans going wild), but I haven't had that in a few months now.

I just wanted to know if anyone saw any strange processes on the list, because there are many of them ranging from 1 mb to 20 mb which combined take up at least 400-500 mb but I guess all of them are needed for the OS to function properly.
