Why there are a lot of review that indicates the 9.7" iPad Pro as a laptop replacement but when the 12.9" went on sale on November everybody has denied the same role for this tablet?
What do you think?

(Excuse me for my terrible english. I'm from Italy).

Either or can be a replacement depending on your usage. I purchased my 12.9 after selling my retina MacBook and air 2. This is now my main computing device. I typically web browse, email, create word documents, draw and do class homework online. All of these things are easily handled on my Pro minus required flash based websites. Also I can no longer maintain iOS device back-ups in case iCloud takes a poop or my music collection. SO while it doesn't replace the need for a laptop 100% for me, I'd say it's covered a solid 90%. I can live with that.

What i mean is why a lot of reviewer are saying that the 9.7 is a laptop replacement while on the other hand they did not say the same for the 12.9.

Because opinions have shifted over time. This is a normal part of the process. \

First reaction from the masses: What? That's crazy! No way an iPad could replace a laptop

Months later reaction: ok it can replace it in some cases. Not all but some (less hateful tone)

Years later while they type on their tablets: I don't see why anyone said tablets couldn't get replace laptops? They're obviously not visionary

I think it's because that's what Phil Shiller said Apple envisioned this device to be in the Keynote announcing it.

Reviewers grabbed that quote and went with it in their reviews.
