I've had a look online and on my phone, so I suspect this isn't possible, however, I thought I would ask the great minds here.

I have Ring Cameras set up around the perimeter of my house. I want to receive notifications on my phone should some motion be detected, however, I also like to sleep through other notifications, e.g., twitter.

Is it possible to allow certain apps to bypass this, or is there a workaround so I can still receive notifications and be alerted to someone being on my property? It's a bit late by the time they get in and wake me that way.

Thanks.

iOS 12 allows this through critical alerts, though developers have to submit a request to get accesss.

That's good to know. I'll contact Ring and see if this is something they're planning to do. Kinda makes the whole thing pointless at the moment.
