Allow users to SMS to an email address?

Anyone know of a basic/fairly inexpensive service that will allow users to text message something to a unique number/code, and you get what they text in as an email? Is this even possible?

Hey! Thanks for the help....unfortunately, I need them to be able to text, as I want this to coincide with a live event. I want them to be able to text the info when they visit the site, but also at the even where I'll be able to pick up the emails on my blackberry and use them while the event is going on.

I might just end up using a simple email form on the site.
