hi, yesterday i ordered my new macbook and today my order was confirmed and the estimated shipping dates were given:

expected shipping date: 29 Jun, 2007
expected delivery date: 09 Jul, 2007 - 10 Jul, 2007

I live in the netherlands and don't know where the macbooks are coming from, but I can't think of a place on this planet it would take almost 2 weeks to ship from using express shipping. Can anyone tell me why it would take so long?

Is it a BTO MacBook?

It comes from China if it is. The main European distribution hub is in the Netherlands though.

the apple site states it's BTO but that is probably because i ordered a mini dvi-dvi adapter with it:( rest is all standard

EDIT: I also ordered a speck case and an Airport Express but shipping time on those was given as 24h. If i go to the store, select the macbook, in the right it will give est shipping 24h. Then when i click the dvi adapter button it changes to 3 days. Wouldn't it be far more easy to just edit my order and remove the dvi adapter from the macbook config and just add it to my card as a single product? (don't know if i can change my order when it's already processed..)

I just called apple store and they put the adapter in my basket and removed it from the macbook config and it'll be delivered by thursday now:D
