Almost phished

Hello Guys,

I am new here

and lately I have been so paranoid I have been so paranoid over the Phishing scam that has been happening so this girl from college send me a link on WhatsApp called “Amazon Christmas Gift” when I search it up it turns out it is not legit and it might be phishing. So I almost click on it. But you know when you press the link not like press to go on it, but you know press it hard until it shows Open Link, or Open in Safari and then the last bottom cancel. So yeah I cancel it. It I did not totally go on that not so legit link and I am getting paranoid unfortunately I couldn't Backed up my phone I ran out of space but I did turn off the wifi and change my password. But idk even though I never click or go on it to see I am still paranoid.

You're fine. As long as you didn't enter any passwords or other info, there's not much to worry about. Changing your password is also a good step to be extra safe but I wouldn't worry about it.

But I did not actually click on that I was pressing it hard so it was giving me that option to open link, open in safari but then cancel of course I would never click on that so yeah

Hitting any button including the cancel button can cause you trouble if it's a malicious site.

It's alway best to quit / cancel the app.

Sadly. But I did change my password for my whole online stuff I hope that helps and my two factor authentication has been on. I never turn it off
