First we have the Lenovo phones that literally look like iPhone 6, then Nokia comes out with the Nokia N1, which literally looks like a iPad mini, and now the new Meizu phone... And i mean just look at this video lol

Meizu MX4 Pro Fingerprint Scanner Test: http://youtu.be/P7xDT2WAUKE

Essentially same exact looking fingerprint setup screen as Touch ID,

The N1 and Meizu do look nice i must admit, but it is clear allot of the competition does copy of Apple , and pretty shamelessly too

I think Apple should have ripped off Apple and made the iPhone 6+ look like the iPhone 5/5s – only bigger.

Maybe Apple's just too busy "borrowing" features for iOS from the jailbreak community to care. Who knows.

enough of this ********

they rip each other off.

Android let you unlock your phone with facial recognition way before touchID ever came to fruition. And soon if the rumors are true, apple will be ripping off HTC's ultra pixel cameras. Just like samsung ripped off apple's iphone 4 design.

get off your high horse, they rip each other off constantly now because that's how brutal the competition is between htem.

What are you talking about lmao? Why would Apple ever resort to that ****** camera setup by HTC? Dream on Fanboy..i can easily tell by your post history your a android fanboy. Anyways with that being said, just because the next iPhones are rumored to have a dual lens setup that looks and somewhat resembles the One camera setup, the way it will work will be completly entirely different and not like that Ultra Pixel BS, The 2nd camera is not used for anything at all besides bokeh effect on the One M8, the rumored dual lens camera for the new iPhones next year work nothing like the One M8

Of course, that is been the course of history, people developing and taing ideas and improving/improvising on them, but this is pure blatant exact copy

Samsung stores, Microsoft stores, shamelessly look a lot like Apple stores. Why is this?

Everyone seems to copy the Apple presentation model (keynote). Even if apple wasn't the first, Apple popularized it, now everyone is using it. Why is this?

Apple didn't create the first tablet or the first music player, but after reinventing another way of marketing them, its funny how company's went crazy making them and copied their way of marketing them. Nokia N1 anyone?

IMO, what I've seen over the years, is that Apple makes a great product, company's then try to emulate that said product, then act like their innovating or something. All the while waiting for Apple to make another great product, so they then can then emulate it again.

The funny thing is, they all sit around complaining " Apple sucks! Look at how they havn't made anything new! How dare they not innovate for the whole industry! " But I ask how come none of these so call innovating company's haven't made anything new? All i see from them is updates to software or more specs to a android system that had its start from emulation of the iphone. Before that android looked like a blackberry.

I'm a tech fan, at this point I don't have an issue using Android or IOS, because we as the consumers win in the end, but lets be real and call a spade a spade.

If the phone in that picture did not have Nokia on the front, I would have sworn that was an iPhone 4. I hadn't realised the copying Apple had done was quite that blatant.

Copying is part of any industry though and as long as its not an almost identical replica (like you have proved above), then I think these guys needs to accept it'll happen. It is almost flattering to an extent when others take tips from a proven product just as long as its not taking the Michael.

I think you mean the 5S. The current Galaxy Alpha phone looks just like a blown up 5S. They also copied the 3G/3GS design with the original Galaxy S/Galaxy Vibrant phone. I don't recall them ever making a device that looked very much like the 4.

Everyone copies everyone, that's how competition works. And we should encourage it. The more they compete, the more the consumer wins.

Now you know why many thought apple is one big hypocrite with all the suing it has done.

My sarcasm lost on you aside, no I don't see why many thought Apple were hypocrites. It takes two to tango and Samsung did themselves no favours with the first Galaxy S when they took major design influences (hardware and software) from the iPhone 3GS and kicked off the whole patent war. What has happened since is beyond petty from both parties and to be honest I couldn't give a toss about it. Its not down to me to judge and it certainly has no effect of my buying choices. I own products from both companies and I am not going to restrict my choices by taking sides in a battle that has absolutely no incentive for me whatsoever. They are both hypocrites by modern standards but so what.

I don't feel Samsung need the association like they used to and have developed their range into an attractive alternative to the iPhone. In fact I have owned numerous Samsung devices over the years and am likely to again at some point in the future. Business ethics are not my job and I wouldn't be a good designer myself if I didn't pay attention to competitors and borrow ideas. Its about doing it intelligently and both Apple and Samsung have been guilty of bullying their ideas through the courts. Its a good thing for consumers because both make awesome products.

Yeah agree.

But Samsung didn't start suing the pants off others first. That's the difference between a copier (samsung) and a jerk copier (apple). There should be some code of conduct for copier :)

If you are playing the copying game as well then behave like every other copier (stay low key). Everyone hates loud mouth jerk.

Lol. Is it your life mission to defend apple to the death?

Look at all of the threads you created.

Its just nonstop apple praise and android bashing.

Are you an Apple employee? Are you a major shareholder?

Sorry to say this but, youre irrelevant to Apple. They couldnt care less about you. Stop stop trying to act like youre doing Gods work.

Well the competitors are getting very desperate.
The iPhone 6 and 6+ are selling quite well.

Thank you for your useless post, and you mean the world to other companies too right. and what are you talking about looking at all the Apple praise? The OP was to get a point across, which is true

Oh they used a rectangularly tablet with black bezels? Yup, that's a copy of Apple..

Damage control, the N1 looks exactly literally like a iPad Mini, it isn't about it being rectangular or black bezels, its the fact that it literally look like Apple's design, a iPad Mini, the N1 is a complete copy and rip off of Apple design this is obvious to see, not because it is "rectangular or black bezels" all iPads have a distinct well known look to the rest of the other tablets out there and the N1 is a blatant rip off(the N1 does look nice though i will admit with its specs too)

Android had giant phones well before Apple did. Whenever I see someone with an iPhone 6 or 6+ I always think it is an android until I look closer. So I'd say either they both copy each other or there are only a couple possible designs for a rectangular phone.

Are you implying Android OEMS' and Android designed and made the innovation "different screen sizes" ? Lol...because I didnt know before Android devices, there was only one screen size in the world that you could pick from, screen sizes isnt innovation and nothing new at all, obviously Android was one of the first to adopt bigger different sized screens, but It is just funny how Android fanboys try and pass off big screens and larger screens as a innovation done by Android/OEMS

Everything about the core essence of how the device is used and designed from the ground up in principle and in scope.

Just as much as designing a touch screen phone as a rectangle is copying apple.

What about the apple Message pad and their 6.1 inch displays?
Apple was there first with phablets and they even had a stylus.

If I may interject.
Google and android stole those concepts from the Apple jailbreaking community first.
