Charged today for first month of apple care on new iPad Pro that is being shipped from China, coverage starts today and next payment is 6/13.
would of thought they would of made it start on 5/21?

When did you purchase the iPad. Apple Care generally starts from date of purchase not when the device is received.

Might be worth taking a look at when you get it, the coverage might change when you login with your Apple ID

Mine also said it started today even though the iPad doesn’t arrive until late next week.

I of no doubt that Apple chat or support could shine a light on what’s happening there, have course.

AppleCare activates two days after an Apple product ships. Saw this happen with my 27” iMac last august. Had me scratching my head too since I didn’t receive it for another week.
