I'm sorry, but after using AirPods, and then 2nd gen AirPods and now AirPods Pro for almost three years, I have to ask - how do you LOSE an AirPod??? It's either in your ear or in the charging case. How could you possibly lose it??

Because you HAVE to lose it, it's basically a meme at this point. Everywhere you can read how easy you can lose your Airpods and only Airpods, no other wireless earbuds, because you never lose them.🤪

Lol it was in my hoodie pocket and the case fell out. After a while of looking I found them in the fence.

I mean tbh other buds cases you can feel. The case with these are so light. One time at my job these kids literally left there’s on the table lol.

Mine fell out of the ear on a plane recently. It was literally just me and the flight attendant left on the plane crawling on the floor. Eventually found it PHEW
Maybe lugging an over the ear set isn't such a bad option after all. The battery lasts longer. The noise cancelling is better and zero chance of them 'falling' out of your ear.

Might be time to invest in a case that hooks to your belt loop. Also consider buying AppleCare+. It's only $29 and covers loss.

AppleCare+ does NOT cover loss, only accidental damage. Lost AirPod Pro costs $89+tax in the US, regardless of AppleCare+.

I'm suprised how many people buy Apple Care. Apple must make alot of money with it.

In all the years i've never once bought it and also never needed it. Imagine how much money i saved... i could easily pay for any damage/loss myself.

Ok ? Before the 2 years is up I’ll get the batteries replaced for $30 while you’ll spend $100 to replace the batteries for both buds. Apple care is literally $30 dollars. iPad Pro for that case is to pay $500 some odd for the 11 inch and more for the 12.9. $100 to get Apple care... broken Apple Watch? You’re better off buying a new one and get a new band included. I have Apple care on those because it’s insane how high repair costs for those. I actually forgo it for my phone

I’ve used AP+ twice. Once for a watch that the back was coming off and once for my X that the battery swelled out of the casing. Both were out of the regular warranty period and were replaced. So about $1500 worth in replacement costs.
