Ok so i ordered one i5 at 30th December, everything went smooth the payment was accepted and it was made o ordering number..well u know, u've been there.

Today (5th January) i went to my account statement, and the money hasn't been charged.

The expedition status as not been change or any of other information.

So the question is.

1 - The expedition status changes only when the money is charged from my account? (i'm supposing it will lol :D)

2 - For those who already been thru this, how long did you have to wait until Apple did the charge?

3 - Does it usually take a long time?

Thank u

You will get an invoice at point of shipment and be charged.

I ordered on the 23rd, they authorised the credit card and it has since not been charged. My estimated shipping date is 8th, if there is no news before then I shall be calling up to ask what the situation is.

Just over two weeks and I'm really quite wanting to have it show up :D

Apple doesn't charge you before they have shipped your order. When the order is accepted, they "freeze" (charges and then returns it) the money in your account so they can be sure that you have money/credit in there.

Just wondering.

From where exactly is the iMac going to be shipped from?

Does it depends from where you live, or does it all comes from one only place?

I believe it is shipped from china.

i don't if it's correct or not, but i read somewhere that the people got the computers shipped from a place that was closer to you ( and by this i mean, i read something like ireland ),

correct me if i'm wrong

It doesn't really matters know, since my order was delayed last week.

I Just hope not to get again another "delayed order" email next week
