Hello,

My 2015 MacBook Pro works great, but both USB ports have been overused and are too wide.
I'm doing a training course to build an iOS app, and I strongly prefer a wired connection from MBP to the phone.
The connection is very unstable and XCode loses the iPhone as a device to deploy to very frequently. This causes errors and all sorts of problems.

Is there a way to connect iPhone to MBP via Thunderbolt 2 for data transfer purposes?
I've trawled Amazon and there is not a single TB2 to Lightning cable.
Also, maybe there are other alternatives on how to connect?
Any advice is very welcome.

You'd need to a get a thunderbolt to usb converter of some sort, and I would imagine such things outside thunderbolt docks are probably not very common. There definitely won't be a direct thunderbolt to lightning cable, as this would make zero economical sense to develop or produce.

Thanks.
Finally, found such dock today.
It's quite expensive, will try and get it cheaper on eBay. Cheapest is around £45.

In the meantime, if anyone has any other ideas, please let me know.
