Alternative itunes??

Does anyone know an alternative for itunes? I was using sharepod before but now that i have the 3.0 software on my iphone no longer support it. I used sharepod because it is so much faster to load music then using itunes.

Does anyone know of a good program to put music in your iphone that isn't itunes or that is similar to sharepod?

You could always OpenSSH it, but that's just a pain to do. I know there are a few programs online that you can download, try googling it. Some you have to pay for, others you can get free trials for.

Just out of curiosity, why don't you want to use iTunes?

You can't just scp some music in and expect it to show up in the iPod application. There needs to be an iTunes database and stuff.

Media Monkey is a great program, but they've struggled to keep up with Apple and play the cat and mouse to be able to sync iPhones/iPods. I used it for a good while but then had to go back to iTunes to be able to reliably sync. Sucks too...I just don't understand why Apple can't make a decent program, iTunes is such a dog. Maybe its better on a mac, I'm using the PC version and it blows...
