For a long time I used Canary Mail because of its OpenPGP integration and lack of alternatives.
Unfortunately, not only have they switched to a subscription-based model, but they've also shifted their focus from security / OpenPGP to AI, which even seems to be enabled by default after updates.
Yesterday Canary's Copilot summarized one of my E2E encrypted conversations and I wasn't exactly happy about it, because that means it must have been sent in plain text to some external servers.
So now I'm looking for an alternative: a mature mail app with support for multiple mail accounts and good OpenPGP integration, but without AI or other things. Something like Canary Mail some time ago.
Any ideas?
