Alternative to iPod Touch.

Hi. My legendary iPod Nano 2 generation is almost dead. I don't like iPod Touch. A valid alternative compatible with OSX? I have seen Fiio products (M3 Pro), but the only method for load music on the player is drag and drop on the sd card insert in a Mac. I often change music in the player, and this method would be too cumbersome for me. I prefer via cable.
