alternative to macbook speakers

so whats are alternative to these crappy speakers? i bought a laptop so i can take it with me ...now i got to lug around external speakers wtf...this really pisses me off

You didn't really expect the MacBook to have good speakers, did you? It's a notebook. Don't expect much in that area. As for external speakers, there are tons of products out there. Do a search on amazon.com or even on here. And if you don't feel like lugging around speakers, then purchase a good pair of headphones.

I think my iBook has decent speakers and my 15in MBP to have slightly abouve average speakers. The only laptop I have seen to have what most would call good, loud, and clear is those Harmon and Kardon(same company that makes speakers for Land Rovers/Range Rovers) in the HP/Compaq laptops. Apple should also get them or some other high end company to make speakers for their laptops.

sorry to say my dell has great speakers i kinda thought i could hear something out of these things what are a good set of headphones?

E-shure headphones for the ear bud type and I personally like Sony's foldable large headphones.
