Hi all,

My dad got my old watch series 7 but he doesn't like the strap that I used (default silicone one) and I wonder if there are any alternatives he can get for the watch.

I know it's a 45mm watch and it would make my dad very happy.

Oh thanks, I think he finds the ones at the Apple's official store too much, not sure if Amazon sends outside the USA.

Yes, Amazon will ship outside the US but you might have duties. Amazon also has stores for non-USA locations, since the Internet is now available outside the US :D

So there's an Amazon Canada, an Amazon UK, Amazon Spain etc. And then there are sites like Aliexpress which is predominantly a Chinese based site but they will ship direct from China or from their staggered distribution outlets.

You can also just go to google and search for "Buy Apple Watch band" and it will bring you a lot of options.

Look into the “Apple Watch accessories” subforum, plenty threads there

All my favourite bands have come from Ali Express. I particularly like the stretchy ones that look a LITTLE like the braided solo loop, but have an adjustable magnetic clasp, so you can get it on and off easier, and without stretching it out to the point it's too loose (like happened to my real Apple one). but even if it DOES stretch out you can just adjust it a little. SO MANY more colours and patterns too.

There’s plenty of inexpensive and great looking 3rd party watch bands.

My problem is that I seem to have a mild allergy to whatever material is used in rubberized watch bands (latex ?) so after a couple hours my skin starts itching. I have this issue even with some brand name watch bands, like Invicta. The plain standard Apple band doesn’t give me any irritation.

If you don’t have allergies then pretty much any well reviewed 3rd party band should work.
