Hey guys

So I am sure I am not the only one who thinks Photos is a terrible app.
Crashes all the time, export import of photos unreliable. Photos library is just a giant pain in the arse. Deleting pictures off your phone, everything.

I want to rid the whole app. I was wondering if anyone could suggest alternatives?

Cheers guys

I use Photo Manager Pro. Nice upload/download capabilities via its own WiFi server, support for folders, and a lot of other features.

I love Google Photos. Works great with my photos, backs them up with unlimited free storage (up till 16 MP), has better editing tools, sharing is great if you are in Google Eco System like me etc etc.

Kinda depends on what functionality you need.

For organizing, light editing and synching I prefer Lightroom Mobile and/or Mylio. Mylio is especially good at synching across lots of devices, and gives FAR more control to the user over that process than Photos. You don't need to even store stuff in the cloud to use it. Start with those.

I use FileExplorer to manage my photo collection. I can import photos from my external hard drive via the share data feature on the iTunes app on my laptop.
