I have been playing this game for more than 1500 hours but i havent found a thread about it here, i wanted to know who tried it and who played it from here, its my personal favourite game for mac.

Altitude is a fun, original multiplayer game with a bunch of cool unlocks and game modes. It's easy to learn and perfect for quick 10 minute sessions when you're busy, or way longer if you're bored. Very fun multiplayer action. Make sure to try all modes once you've learned the basics.

This game is a ton of fun to play, small download, runs on just about any system, Windows/Mac users can play on the same servers, perfect for quick 10-20 minute spurts if you're busy, and basically everyone needs to play it. Just download the free demo already, you'll be glad you did.

I would also add that the full version is just 10$. The demo is unlimited and has all 5 planes available with just one perk each though so there is less variety but still everything.
 
I've played Altitude a bit. It's a fun game, especially if you can get it on sale (as I did) but I don't play it more than once every couple weeks now.

Trust me best 10$ ive spent for a game.
The good thing is theres enough features to keep you in for an undefined amount of time (theres a community run ladder altitudeladder.com) but its also a cool game for 10 minutes a day (you can join and leave public servers without problem (just dont join and leave ladder games before they end but theyre in the ladder servers).

Are you suuuure? ;) First post and it's a comprehensive one about why we should buy a game.

I bought Altitude. It's okay, played it for an hour or so but haven't been back. I'll probably give it another try some day.
 
Great game

Purchased back when mac steam first came out. Tons of fun, but I haven't played it in forever.
I prefer to play with the loopy, so screw the Miranda! XD

I felt this hadnt been brought up yet :D The developers are just 2 and im not one of them!!
My post was about why you should try the game not why you should buy it :) Personally i played the demo for 80 hours (i think) before buying the actual game (the game costed 20$ when i bought it).
 
I play altitude quite a bit! (Ace 10 - 342.7 hours). Before you flame me for bumping i was using the search tool to find see if altitude is playable on the 2011 macbook air. Hopefully someone can chime in on this.

It plays great on my 2008 MBP - I don't see any reason why a 2011 MBA would have trouble.
 
Yeah, should run fine. I used to play it on my x1600 iMac just perfectly, and that card is from 2005! It's not exactly demanding.
