How has the aluminum back of the iPad held up for you guys and gals? Is it getting scratched up?

A couple weeks after I got it, I noticed a scratch on the back approx 2 inches long. It's not bad but it still bothers me and just looks plain bad.

Any recommendations for something in the UK?

The only place I've dealt with for skins is skinizi their French, but they ship to the UK pretty fast. Or try eBay, you should search iPad decal.

Skinizi also do their own skins as well as custom skins. Both are the same price £15 including postage. Gelaskins are supposed to be good, but I don't know about shipping.

pretty bashed up

...but I mostly use it to smash mosquitoes against the wall (sometimes I have to toss it against the ceiling). It's working out to be that kind of summer. Lots of rain and standing water. Besides, I hit them pretty hard. I like to be sure, you know.

Wouldn't get a skin, because I'd just damage it.

Currys Digital (was Dixons) are selling a good hard silicone case, in dark smoke or clear. Its £30, but it is very good, i've dumped my Apple case in favour of it (i got the clear one). There's no branding and you can still see the Apple logo and stuff. The fit is very good. I imagine most PC Worlds and Currys stores will stock it too.
