Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone had a solution to my problem. First off, I have the 20" 2GHz IC2D iMac. As well, it's about 1 month old and I have a 3 year Best Buy warranty. I haven't looked into getting it checked out by Apple/BB.

So, the problem is it was at first the quietest thing I ever owned. All of the sudden (about a week later) whenever I loaded up a heavy program like PhotoShop or something as simple as Mail, my computer (although subtle) starts clicking or "chirping". I did notice that when there is a disc in the optical drive, the clicking stops whenever I'm doing something from the disc. It's not too bad when my music is on (because I can't hear it), but since I like it quiet and the computer is only a few inches away it has come to be extremely annoying. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

David

PS: Apple representatives served absolutely no use, this was very upsetting.
